Lydia Parrott Anders received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. Following graduation, Lydia moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and began working for Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery. "Helping builders, designers and homeowners facilitate their dream kitchens and bathrooms during my tenure at Ferguson fueled my love for design," says Lydia. "That is what led me to get a degree in Residential Design from the Art Institute of Charlotte." 

Lydia gained further invaluable work experience during her time with Circa Interiors & Antiques of Charlotte. In 2012, Lydia founded Hastings House Interiors. She has clients in Charlotte, Raleigh, and all over Eastern North Carolina. Lydia currently resides in Raleigh with her husband and two children...and Ransom the Cockapoo!
